EmbroideryList Guidelines

  1. The EmbroideryList is for the Commercial Embroidery Industry.
  2. If you are a home sewer/embroiderer (Hobbyist) there are many different resources which would probably satisfy your needs better. Here is a list of resources.
  3. To make it easier for people to read, enter in the SUBJECT AREA of your email the topic in which the message is about. This will be sent out as the "subject" in the email distribution of the list.
  4. When responding to a message DO NOT USE "Reply ALL" as it will send multiple copies of your message to the moderator. Just use "Reply to Sender" or "Reply".
  5. When replying to a message delete as much of the previous message as possible, as most people don't want to read the same thing over and over. Many people like to have your response AT THE TOP of the reply message, as some people won't scroll to the bottom to see what you've said.
  6. This is a moderated list. We try and limit the discussion to relevant embroidery concerns, but cannot be held responsible for content of the information that is distributed.
  7. The list's primary moderators are: Kelly Ragland, Aaron Savka,Tanda Bundy and Alan Bird who have VOLUNTEERED to be the moderators for the EmbroideryList. They are really good about processing the mail all day long during the week, and usually a couple of times each day on the weekends and holidays. (Thanks to these volunteers for there daily help, without it there wouldn't be the EmbroideryList!)
  8. The moderator screens the postings to make sure they are list appropriate, and not blatantly commercial.
  9. The moderator DOES NOT edit the message itself.
  10. Important notice regarding copyrights.
  11. All opinions, misspellings or incorrect information, are those of the person submitting the email message. We cannot be responsible for any comments or errors in messages posted to the list.
  12. Any suggestions, problems or abuses of the list needs to be brought to the attention of helper@ud.net.
